A new way of taking the exam for obtaining a certificate for a public procurement officer has been introduced as of 1 January 2024. In addition to the written part of the exam, a practical part of the exam was introduced, which is passed by testing the work on the Public Procurement Portal.
In order to organise this part of the exam, within the framework of the Public Procurement Improvement Project, the US Agency for International Development (USAID) in cooperation with the project implementation partner Deloitee Consulting Overseas Projects, LLC, donated a total of 30 laptops.
