Director of the Public Procurement Office Sandra Damčević and Director of the Anti-Corruption Agency Dejan Damnjanović held a working meeting on the improvement of cooperation in areas of common interest, with a special focus on significant matters within the jurisdiction of both institutions.
The meeting touched upon the implementation of the existing regulatory framework, as well as the possibilities for improving preventive mechanisms that contribute to the prevention of corruption in the public procurement system.
Director Damčević emphasised the following, “The cooperation between the two institutions is significant in terms of implementing legal competencies and improving work results, thereby meeting anti-corruption standards and procedures of spending of public funds.
Director Damnjanović stressed on this occasion: “Considering the extremely successful cooperation between the Agency and the Office so far, it is in both our interests to intensify the exchange of data and experiences in the regular period, as well as to continue joint activities in the field of prevention and training.”
It was concluded that in the regular period, the Office and the Agency will conclude a cooperation agreement that will detail joint activities to improve cooperation.
